Activities

To provide representation for the members and interests of AHRA that are now a part of AHA, two At-Large Vice Presidents, four At-Large Directors and one member of the Ways and Means Committee of AHA and their successors are appointed by the Trustees of the PAT in perpetuity.*

To ensure that the purity of the purebred Arabian breed and the requirements for purebred Arabian registration are protected, three appointments are made by the Trustees of the PAT to the nine-member AHA Registration Commission.*

To ensure that the integrity of the AHA Registry is secured, the PAT retains responsibilities relating to AHA’s affiliation with the World Arabian Horse Organization and other purebred Arabian registries.*

To ensure that the interests of Arabian Racing continue, the PAT will appoint the six members of the Racing Committee, which shall be the Executive Committee of the Arabian Jockey Club.*

To ensure that the interests of the purebred Arabian breed are maintained by directing available PAT funding to promotional and market development opportunities for the purebred Arabian horse.
