The Arabian Horse Galleries At The Kentucky Horse Park - 2010

General Information

Welcome to the information portal for the Al-Marah Arabian Horse Galleries, a new Arabian horse museum built as an attachment to the Kentucky Horse Park's acclaimed International Museum of the Horse. Comprised of two levels containing both "Art and Artifacts" and "Interactive Exhibits," the Galleries will tell the story of the Arabian horse from ancient Arabia to modern day.

The Al-Marah Arabian Horse Galleries is considered one of the most significant PERMANENT additions ever made to the Kentucky Horse Park.

Over 1 millions visitors enjoy the Kentucky Horse Park each year-a number estimated to grow to 1.6 million annually by 2014 due to its hosting the 2010 World Equestrian Games,.

Opening Ceremonies Video and Overview

The Al-Marah Arabian Horse Galleries Opening Ceremonies were held on Saturday, June 12th, 2010. Hundreds of Arabian horse enthusiasts from around the world descended on the Kentucky Horse Park to participate in this momentous occassion.
